Understanding The Breach
At some point and time in the life of man there must be a breach; a breach is break away. The breach here is one of breaking away from sin or the things that would keep us bound by sin. We must violate the law of sin. Man however must not violate the law of God. We must however obligate ourselves to be tied to the standard of God. Satan has caused many a wise men to break the laws of God and man. He has ruptured the disc that holds the boundaries of right and wrong. When man faces a tear in his life and walks away from the norm, conditions changes not only for him but for the whole of mankind; including wives and children, marital commitments and reproduction. This then causes a break in accustomed friendly relations in the life of all involved. There is a gap in the continuity of the will of God for their lives.
Understanding the breach takes on a more profound look at salvation. If nothing had been broken Jesus would have not had a reason to come to the earth as a man. We must grasp the fact that there is indeed a breach in society concerning mankind. It’s not hard to discern that something is wrong in the life we live. We are aware that things are not as they should be. Many things are out of order because man is not in their proper places. Life has been minimized, cheapened, belittled, underrated and discredited where God is concerned. Salvation has been lessened, downgraded and depreciated. Man has allowed the enemy of their soul to undermine the lover of their souls. This defeated foe wants to weaken man that they decay in their own vomit.
Man has succeeded in building walls around the principals of God that don’t hold up because they build God’s standards in the world constructed with the mud of the enemy. They call right wrong and wrong right. We are not building well-built structure in the hearts of men because we do it without the Word, Prayer, or Study of the Word. Men were to watch for their families and bring them to Christ. They have been stationed before they came into the world for this very purpose. Adam was stationed in the Garden of Eden, naming everything therein including his wife that was taken out of him. He was supposed to watch for the enemy not only for himself but for her too. Instead he stood back and allowed her to talk to a snake that wasn’t talking to him first. He didn’t watch properly and men still today is not properly watching over their families nor the souls of those put under their watch.
Romans 13:12-13 the night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day, not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
Colossians 1:10 that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Colossians 3:16 let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
We have a more sure word of prophecy today that if we do well to take heed to the light that shines before us and follow we can come out of the dark places. If we walk in the light of Jesus Christ He will lead us to the throne of grace that we will have fellowship with the Father and one another. It is the blood of Jesus Christ that cleanses us from sin. He was a burning and shining light and we once were willing to for a season rejoice in that light. But now have we turned to the darkness that have crept in and destroyed not only us but the family structure that follows us.
Just as Jesus had his work to accomplish in the earth so does man. God has called men to lead out. He made man in his image and man is capable of knowing God and returning His love. Man was created, made, and fallen because of the hidden desire to do as the woman say rather than God. What has defiled man that he should stop following God to obey what God put him over? It’s the pride of life, the lust of the eye, and the lust of the flesh. Man loves the things God put here for their pleasure than being in obedience to God.
Genesis 1:26-27 and God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Let’s take a look at the word created. God originated, fashioned, built, shaped and fabricated man into what He was; Spirit. In the Spirit he made man all that He is. God is a Spirit. Now that we have that down packed let’s see creative God really was. He looked down and saw that the man he created could not keep the natural part of his Creation in the spiritual state that he was in. So what did God do? Genesis 2:7 and the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. God with his creative ability allowed his Word and Spirit to work with Him further to get the job done in making man to become not only spiritual but natural as well.
God and Man had a bond, but God could also see on man’s natural side that he was lonely. God had made man with everything he would need in the earth on the inside of him. Remember God had created man, male and female spiritually. But now man’s position had changed; he was Adam a spiritual man now made a flesh being with his companion on the inside of him. God took out that part of man and laid her at his side and she became a woman no longer in man. Let’s understand that the two were separated but brought together again as one in what we call holy matrimony; marriage. Adam and Eve was the first married couple, yet man refuses to marry today and a few even prefer to marry another man; God forbid. God did not make mistakes; there is no more man in woman or woman in man.
We are liars that say it is. Job said in Job 4:17 shall mortal man be more just than; God? Shall a man be more pure than his maker? The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God. How can we call God a lie? That’s what we do when we say we are something other than what He has made us. Paul said in Hebrews 2:7 that God made us a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands. Man we are somebody and somebody that is special to God. How long will we not understand the breach we have caused between us and God?
We being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whispers, backbiting, despitefulness, pride, boasting, evil inventions, disobedience, misunderstanding, desires to break covenants, unnatural affections, implacableness, and un-forgiveness, makes us haters of God. Man is full of imperfections but our God is perfect. We were made in a perfect state but took on flesh that desires the earthen things from whence it came. Man desires mars their senses; the senses desire to follow after its Creator. King Agrippa in Acts 26:27-28 told Paul that in a short time he almost persuaded him to be a Christian. Paul knew King Agrippa heard him when he presented Christ to him but his decision not to follow was his and he knew Paul was right. Almost is not good enough. We cannot live by being good enough for there is none good but God. It’s a mad man that doesn’t want the one that made them in the first place. We need to build our foundation on Christ and him crucified. The finished work on the Cross gives us that sure foundation. What greater love has been given to man than the love of God; in that while we were yet sinners Christ died that man would be free to glorify the Father once again.
Men are to be followers of Jesus Christ that they set a firm example for their wives and children, that they too will follow Jesus Christ. Men must teach them that they too would suffer but it’s nothing to be ashamed of, but at the name of Jesus Christ glorify God. There are too many idols in the world; many people, symbols, and things are misrepresented by man as a god and cause man to be idolatrous. When we become men we are to act as men. We are to teach our children how not to worship idols. The worship of idols, images, or anything which is not God is idolatry. The worship of false gods is idolatry. Idolatry was practiced at a very early period of the history of man. Adam put the woman before God, Eve put her desires before God and man and the serpent put Satan before God because he allowed Satan the access to overtake him to use his mouth. Ignorance is not bliss, we are full of yesterdays and know nothing because our days are but a shadow according to Job 8:9. To attain the knowledge of God and realize how wonderful it is we must first avail ourselves to it. We know in part and we prophesy in part for we see through the glass darkly. There are many things that increase vanity, what is man the better?
Understanding the breach and how we got to that breaking point will help us to look unto the Savior and Creator once again. We are special to God. Our families should be special to us. Mankind should be special to us. We are all a part of God’s family and as men we should never forget that. When we go to God we must bring our whole families with us. No one should be left behind. God sent his Son and his Son reached back and pointed all of us to the Father. The breach is as it is; now it’s time to do something about it. Give God another chance to be the God of your life. God has given us another chance to say yes; take it and make it. The breach doesn’t have to be the continual force in our lives. We can have the pieces put back together again once and for all. Come to Jesus Christ today!
