Poetry
Preface: This poem was the most difficult to portray as it depicts a vision I had of the rapture and its "spiritual-experience" just after its physical occurrence on earth. It depicts the transformation of our flesh into the glorified bodies Christ promised us... slow/eternal feeling and amazingly beautiful/enlightening; there are no words to describe the love/bond Christ has for/with His Church/Bride.
-------------------------------------------------------------
To depict, is a portal, circular and bright.
Lit divinely within without cast shadow;
Vast colors, shapes and light defined
Are clouds that line its exalted enclose.
The sense of one being slowly drawn -
Upward ascension into seemingly unknown
Lays wonderment, amazement and peace combined
With knowledge of arrival: Unto His Own.
Beyond all words and in awe to portray
Are His promised glories and ultimate grace:
An understood transfer from a life known
Into mansions prepared for His children saved.
Still the hour unknown, as is the day
When He will come a thief in the night-
His bride unto Him; bestowed in His glory
Will again return with the dead in Christ.
