God wants us again today to introspect from within, when on one side God wants us to be be pure and holy, He also wants us to be aware of false prophet's who are not clean within.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them." Matthew 7:15-20 (NKJV)
We may encounter countless people in our day today life who profess to love God and pretend to be faithful to God, however inwardly the devil is at work in them.
Jesus said that we could know them by their fruits, for they will surely never bear the goodness of the Lord and thus we can easily determine and identify them.
However for us to determine that they are not like God, we first need to know what is it to be like God, thus we need to know our God.
In the light of God in our life, we can easily identify every dark spot and visibly see every evil heading towards us, however if we still remain in darkness, we will never be able to identify the evil heading towards us and thus will become easy victims of the schemes of the devil.
No one would ever remain still and immovable in self defense when he/she sees a stranger approaching to harm, however this may be true when we are blind, when we are in darkness, when we are in such a position that we cannot see, thus to identify the harm the devil wants to bring to us, we need to constantly live in the light of God and willfully reject all the devil's advances, for then shall we rightly see in God's light that the lucrative and eye pleasing offerings of the devil actually has dreadful consequences.
God wants us to identify the wolves heading towards us to harm us and this is only possible with a life full of the Holy Spirit, a heart set right with God, a mind that is of Christ and the eyes of holiness like the Lord, and then shall we rightly see and identify the bad fruit as God sees them.
God Bless,
Abraham
