Faith
And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.
(Genesis 39:12)
Sometimes as we walk through our Christian life and even though in our hearts we are spold out to Jesus, but in our flesh we are weak and submit ourselves to things that we should not; there are times we must run from sin to flee it. We must in haste leave the very sight of it, the smell of it, the hearing of it before we get to the touching or tasting of it, for such sins only need a spark to start a wildfire that could burn until there is nothing left at all, except an immortal soul who will never leave the grasp of Satan and his Hell, it is eternal (Matthew 18:18;25:41; Mark 9:43-47;Revelation 20:10) Who would willfully enter the devils prison and burn forever and ever always hearing the screams, cursing, sobbing, weeping, and even preaching and sermons of complete truth and never yet being able to be saved. See, folks, there are no unbelievers in Hell. Only a madman who desires eternal punishment because of unbelief or believing a lie when the truth is available would ever court such disaster.
I may be seen as loser for declining to live and be out with the company of evil (unsaved characters, music, books, websites, movies, PC games), but I had better leave my garment than lose my salvation. Salvation is not lost because of unwillful mistakes, it is lost however if we avail ourselves to the enemy and his snares and thereby allow his habits to become our own habits. No one, no matter how strong can resist Satan, especially if they willfully go to and shop in his store. At first we say no, then we say , Ok I can do it but I am strong enough to walk away, then we say or do the next thing in our line of thought produced by the sin nature and eventually we succumb to it.
No ties of friendship, no shackles of attractiveness, no flashings of talent, and no spears and darts of ridicule must turn any soul from the wise tenacity to flee from sin. If I resist Satan he will flee (James 4:7). The lust of the flesh is the same yet different. If we see Satan as he is we would surely run, yet we have more power than he ever has had or will have (I John 4:4). The lust of the flesh sometimes is seen as harmless because of how it presents itself, and then when we get hooked it is that much harder to leave it and we then try to justify it so we can keep doing it. Many people watch false preachers for the “news” when there are other sources available, people watch TV networks that present Satan disguised as a minister or prophet. It could be a novel that is not written in a Christian manner or by a Christian but yet fills our minds with other than what is in God’s Word; it could be any number of things. This is why we must guard our hearts and minds (Proverbs 4:23; Philippians 4:7-9).
We all must live and act like we are the only Christians left on the planet. If we look back at the writings here, there are so many damnable heresies and people producing them. We have Purgatory, which is a false belief and a lie from hell and in fact was created by men in an attempt to gain money for the Church of Rome (Catholicism) which works till this day. It has dragged more people to hell I dare say than anything else has and this is, I believe, why they are mentioned in the book of Revelation. We must do all we can to turn people from this place and from the ideas, offerings and gifts that Satan will offer to us and them. It is a very dangerous situation and time that we now live in and time is very short and we must go out and win he lost, no matter the cost. What is cost now compared to eternity? What is cost now compared to the very life and immortal soul of a man woman or any other person that is at the age of accountability or above!
The cost is very little compared to eternal hell.
See we have two trinities we can live for:
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit!
Or
We can live after: The World, the Flesh and the Devil!
