Am I always Ready?
Am I always ready and eager to do God’s will,
regardless of what He asks of me?
Have I the patience to wait on Him, to seek His will, not mine?
Should anything worry me - any trial, or tribulation;
any change or vexation?
If He wants me to be in one place,
should I wish to be in another;
if He wishes me to do one thing should I wish to do another?
Should I see anyone or anything as an intrusion;
or should I see each one as an opportunity to serve Him?
Don’t I know that everything comes from His hand?
If someone crosses my path don’t I know
that He is sent from God either for his well-being or for mine?
