Poetry
Sharply jangling, pans are clanging
Coffee maker brewing strong
Shower's spraying, children saying
Turn the TV on
No time to stop, no time to stay
No moment's breath to waste
Rush and hurry in a flurry
Out the door, another day
Cell phones ringing, IPod singing
Texting, Twitter, Blue Tooth hell
No pause to watch the sun's bright rising
Nor hear the morning Whippoorwill
Step back, sit down, just breathe awhile
Listen for the Savior's voice
Before the day has passed away
And empty life's your only choice
The better part, the wiser part
The thing we all should do
Sit at His feet and rest a bit
In simple gratitude

I really liked this poem. The rhyme and meter sound just about perfect and the verses flow together nicely. Well Done.
