I am a beginning writer and I live in San Marcos, Texas. Was interested in knowing if anyone lived in this area or nearby?

I can't think of anyone of the top of my head. I live in western NY where cows outnumber people. A few years ago I think we had a couple of Texas members, but not sure what part of Texas, but I can't think of anyone current.
