OK, I'm a loser. I totally forgot to post the link to last week's Writing Article. I guess with my computer acting up, school starting and endless sports practices and games, my brain was a little too cluttered.
So sorry! This coming week's article (9/20) will be posted either later tonight or tomorrow.
Here is the question sent in by a writer:
Q: I want to create a memorable short story. I want to, but it doesn't seem to be happening. Everything that comes out reads like a cliché. I can't even read it without thinking, "Hey, I've read this before." It's like the entire thing is a patch quilt of stuff I've read or seen elsewhere. Memorable? Not. What am I doing wrong.
