Here is a link to a press release about a lawsuit the Florida Attorney General's office filed against a bunch of literary agents and agencies: http://myfloridalegal.com/__85256222006 ... t,fletcher

The press release makes it sound as if Florida is only going against Writer’s Literary Agency and its owner, Robert Fletcher. But if you click the link at the bottom of the press release for the complaint filed in the case, you will see nearly 40 individuals, corporations, aliases, and dba's.

Yes, I believe over at either Whispers and Warnings or Preditors and Editors they list all of WLA's aliases, including Christian Literary Market. I'm not knocking the state of Florida, but it seems like a lot of scam artists operate out of there.

Not surprised. This fellow (and his agencies) pop up regularly in different guises. Do a search for all the AKA's and it's a long list (but the websites all usually look much the same).

Basically, best rule of thumb, if an agency or publisher is calling for authors in an advertisement (particularly Google ad words), it means you're going to have to cough up money. The real ones don't advertise like that.
