Good Morning Jan! (Juuuuuuuuuuuust kidding)

These are two separate passages, from one article I am working on.

I'm stumped on them both.


“Fire! Our house is on fire. John, Kimberly, wake up!”


Not seeing anything unusual, I became irritated and turned toward the two beings. “What is it you want me to see? There’s nothing here!”

AnnRene, these are fine. Exclamation points in dialog--especially in high emotion situations like that--are absolutely fine.

Whew. Truth is, I tried taking them out in different places, but just couldn't do it and feel peaceful about it
