This week, Glenn answers a member's question about "writing what you know." Here's the question:
Q: I've got a great idea for a novel and I'm running with it. When I was little my family used to live near a coal mining operation and that's the setting for my book. Since I lived around it I figured I should know enough about it to do it justice. Am I missing something?
