Lots of great stories on the USA! Congratulations winners!

Thanks for all the encouraging comments on my entry. Placing this week means so much. Though I wrote it in an hour, it's a very significant piece to me. It was a busy week, and an emotional one as Wednesday would've been my father's 80th birthday. I live in a different state so I couldn't go to the cemetery. I woke up Thursday morning and it hit me...write about his immigration, for the Challenge, but mostly as my birthday gift to him. I do want to polish it up, and maybe expand it, if I can find a place to have it published.
