So even though there will be only one winner, we still need 30 entries, 15 per category? :?:

I've not been able to definitively check the final tally (public holiday yesterday in Australia and I was out and about), but I did have a quick look. Although there don't appear to be enough entries to meet that proviso, the standard has been very high, so I will still include the publishing component, and we will still award runners up in both fiction and non-fiction.

That's it for 2017. Entries have closed for the Page Turner contest, and Lisa, Lucy, and Joe pushed our final tally to:

Nonfiction Entries:
5 entries

Fiction Entries:
15 entries

(Number of entries as of October 1)

Thank you to all those who labored hard and long to produce their entries. The effort is very obvious.

Although the rules do state that we need 15 entries in both categories for the publishing component to be a definite, the reality is that we have some outstanding entries. So that publishing offer will be made to the overall Page Turner winner (whoever that may be). The hard part will be finding that one winner (even from such a small list of entries).

The winner will be announced on December 1.
