Deb--

Hey, I think you sent me a notice that you had mine, but wanted to make sure since I've only seen 8 total turn ins. So let me know, please. I turned mine in a while back. So that's why I'm asking. You cna respond at [email protected].

Thanks
Christine

Even though we're down to the wire, I was thinking of trying to beat the odds and write a chapter. However, it occurred to me (conventional wisdom and past experience) I just might need an outline.

Must an outline of the book accompany the first chapter?

Hi Lillian.

Yes, a synopsis is part of the entry requirements, but it can be very basic. You just need to be able to give an idea of where the book is going, and being non-fiction, the aim of it.

The time is racing away now, with just 11 days to go until entries close in this year's Non-fiction Page Turner contest. It's not too late. With a small field of entries, the possibility of winning is so much greater (and it is a great prize).

Don't miss out. Non-fiction won't come around again until 2012.

ARGH! Here's me pulling my hair out in frustration that I have (as per usual) waited until the VERY. LAST. MOMENT.

Look for mine between tonight and tomorrow, Deb. Polishing, tweaking and just generally procrastinating.
