Craven Writer's Roundtable (NC)

Meetings the first Tuesday of each month. Meets monthly except during summer.
Dinner ($15)
"The Emerald" Country Club
Greenbrier - New Bern, NC

Formed in 2007. 20 members as of 1/1/09. Many of the members are full time professional writers - various fields.

Tends to be a bit academic, during each meeting a select member presents a research paper, Papers are collected an made available to the educational community (electronic or paper distribution). Additionally, literature accomplishments are celebrated during the social hour of monthly meetings.

The group is an active member of the Craven County Literary Council.

Secular in nature.

April meeting moved to April 8 to accommodate the Country Club's April Fools day Golf Tourney. Attendees must reserve a chair. Anyone in the area can contact me and make arrangements to attend.

Meetings will begin bi-monthly schedule. Second Tuesday, beginning May; meeting held at Harvey Mansion, Front Street, New Bern, NC. 7:00p.m.

Thank you for your reply. There's a lot more to the purpose of needing help, some things I would much rather express in person instead of an open forum.
