Two pages is propably a tad on the lengthy side for the synopsis. See if you can trim it down just a little.

Don't worry too much, though. I'm being as flexible as possible.

Go for it Dara.

As for length, it doesn't really matter. Just make sure that you set up a good, page-turning first chapter.

Highest Ranked Entries for CHILDREN

Hi everyone. The Children's Challenge was a huge stretch for many writers, I know. Some people didn't quite grasp the concept of writing for children, rather than about children, and I think a lot of people discovered that it's not so easy getting in touch with your inner child. Even so, the importa...

Joanne, I'm sure you would handle it as well as I do (which means you would probably be rocking in the corner on a regular basis).

Well, I can see I'm totally unnecessary here. LOL. Joanne got it all right. The 30th June is the final date for the 2007 Fiction Page Turner contest. The 2008 contest will be announced on the 1st January, and will be for Non-Fiction. We really do want to run it as an annual contest/reward for 500 me...

Nothing to forgive, love. And don't worry about your entry being too early. You're in, and that's the main thing.

Yes, Lynda is right. This year is fiction. Next year will be non-fiction, but even so, the Page Turner contest probably won't work terribly well with individual devotions/stories. That's because the first chapter has to be something that really grabs the reader and makes them want to keep reading. S...

New one please Janet. I used the old ones in the last book, and it's time for everyone to make sure that it is up to date. So if you have your old one on file, just check it to make sure it still sounds okay, and send it through. If you need to update it, do that and then send it through to me. Than...

Highest Ranked Entries for ROMANCE

Hi everyone. Congratulations to all our winners in the Romance Challenge. It was such a great mix (with lots of new names). Well done! Now that our winners have had a little time in the spotlight, it's time to see who else did very well. It's time for the list of highest ranked entries. If you find ...

LOL ... no, you weren't alone. :D

But you were the one that made me think, "Hmmm ... if Shari thought that, I wonder how many others may have thought the same thing?"

I'll expect a flood of entries now.

Entries ARE Still Open

I just read a post where the 500 member said she had heard that no more entries were being received for the Page Turner contest. I've no idea where that came from. This year's Page Turner Contest will close at midnight on the 30th June, 2007.

So get writing! :D
