Re: Could be reason for less entries?

Not to worry Helen, Deb's said that she'd rather us say what we had to say than bottle it up. I'm sure most in here join me in saying we love Deb to bits for who she is and what she does (like us, not always perfectly) LOL!! :)

Re: Could be reason for less entries?

Deb, maybe streamling could include listing the winners and rankings all in one. I'm sure the winners wouldn't mind waiting a little longer for their postings whilst you get them all prepared together. :D to have you back on the job! Hope you had a lovely holiday, we're going for a 16 day Med cruise...

Re: Could be reason for less entries?

Not too long ago Deb said her Australian friend Lyn Churchyard was going to assist her and that she lived near enough to meet up with from time to time. But unless she's working silently behind the scenes I have not seen much evidence of her being around. :)

Re: Could be reason for less entries?

I think you're right Lillian (took the words right out of my mouth) and I've been thinking for some time that a part-time (maybe a couple of days) help with a little official remumeration would help the load become lighter, and not go amiss. :)

Re: Could be reason for less entries?

I presume that the listing of the rankings is a little more involved than listing the winning five and if busy may cause difficulty sometimes in posting on time. It would just be nice to know about the hold up. But Allison, a lot of what goes on in here has evolved and then becomes custom and practi...

Re: After Hols Break

I'm happy to wait until she's back off her fornight's holiday, to give her a break off things. I haven't got a piece in the challenge for this week so it doesn't make much matter to me. Sorry if you've been misled. :)

After Hols Break

After your holiday break would you be able to post, belatedly, the rankings for 'Much Ado about Nothing' and ' The Importance of Being earnest'?

Thanks Deb - have a nice break.

Re: Bonus Prize - BLOWOUT Challenge

I had a slight panick when I saw someone had been picked in advance for Blowout - I have just submitted and thought I must have entered the wrong topic until I checked. What would have happened if Phee had not entered Blowout could she take the bonus prize forward to another week. Or, do persons pic...

Hi Jan - I have a pond in my garden and my grandson loved to spot the frogs (and often pointed them out to us) we could never spot them. But sadly none have been around for awhile, but then my grandson is growing up and lives in a different part of the country and is now engaged - so we haven't got ...

TRIOLET

Hi Jan - my attempt: Nature's Callousness A frog's life, gone, and no one cared, The pond was now still and lone, Just tiny creatures who had shared, A frog's life, gone, and no one cared. The mate whose life the male had paired, To new urges now was prone, A frog's life, gone, and no one cared, The...
