Ok, so I'm more used to monologues which are spoken aloud to an audience, so I decided to go a different route this time and try internal monologue. I did "stuck in an elevator." I've written about that before, but in the form of a skit... Don't know why that seems to be a common topic for me. Maybe...

Congrats, everyone!!

I'm actually glad I'm NOT up there this week... I had a big boo-boo in mine, and would have been a bit embarrassed if it had ended up in the top 10! lol

Oh, I love "slice of life" stories. I think one of the best things is that you can do them in any mood. You can even take the same event and go at it from different moods. I have quite a few "slice of life" stories. I think a favorite of mine is The Long and Short of It , where I take the reader on ...

I'd love to try this, but I don't know that I've ever even written a fiction piece much longer than the challenge length! Maybe 1000 words, but that's about it. I don't have any ideas that would fill a novel either, I don't think. I just don't know that I'm cut out for novel writing. lol

I'll post my story later, but for those who (like me) aren't sure where a die is off the top of your head, here is an online one! Not quite as fun as physically rolling a die, but it gets the job done. :)

First off, thanks to the judges. I never expected to place so high in my level nor ever in my wildest dreams expected an EC. (Can someone please explain to me what that means?) Anyway, I submitted for the UK and placed it in level one. Will it be automatically moved to level 2 or will it be in leve...

One of the most well known examples of repetition in the Bible is also one of my favorites. Psalm 136 repeats the phrase "His love endures forever" at the end of each verse. This wasn't a challenge entry, but Except God uses repetition of a sentence throughout the whole piece. I should probably re-w...

Wow, wow, wow! I'm so excited! I wasn't expecting that. I actually got on during my break at work today to check. Had to try not to shout too loudly. ;) Thanks to all who commented!
