Vile, as long as it's brief (and not a chapter in itself) you can use it.

ROFL! Don't worry. I don't mind readers who are writers. But I want them to read them as readers--not as writers.

Make sense?

Christine, stop hyperventilating--okay?

Thanks Lynda. You're the best (and very quick, too).

Okay, I have no idea what the problem was about this forum being closed for new posts. It's definitely open.

Detailed enough to give a clear overview of the planned book, but not a chapter in itself.

Just a good outline of the story progression will be fine.

Go for it gang! Bear in mind that this won't be judged like the Challenge. We are just looking for extreme readability--the winner will be the one that made us most want to turn the page and read Chapter 2. Just make sure that you have have a synopsis to go with the submission of your first chapter,...

Al is right. It's an annual contest for 500 members--and we really are hoping that it will give that little extra push to get working on that book. To be fair to everyone, we are having fiction this year, and non-fiction next year--and it will alternate each year from then on. Although it doesn't ac...

Yes, Jim, there is. It's a good collection point for information regarding magazine submissions and other announcements from time to time. A 500 newsletter will be going out on a fairly regular basis, but a lot of people don't read things like that (from experience). So the 500 message board forums ...

It definitely makes life a bit easier for those of us who are regulars on these boards. Splitting the time between both was not easy. Darlene was a legend!

Still is.

Woohoo Tab!!! Welcome to the 500. I'm so happy you did that--and for all the right reasons again. You've got the heart for FaithWriters and you can see the value of it goes beyond money.

By the way, this is the first time I've seen your piccy. You're all adorable.

Thread Hijacking

We want everyone to enjoy their time on the FaithWriters Message Board, and that means a good mixture of fun and serious posts. However, it is important that members are careful not to "hijack" a serious thread that has been started by another member. If a thread is started purely for fun, then anyt...
