LOL ... no, you weren't alone. :D

But you were the one that made me think, "Hmmm ... if Shari thought that, I wonder how many others may have thought the same thing?"

I'll expect a flood of entries now.

Entries ARE Still Open

I just read a post where the 500 member said she had heard that no more entries were being received for the Page Turner contest. I've no idea where that came from. This year's Page Turner Contest will close at midnight on the 30th June, 2007.

So get writing! :D

Re: Deadline

I had only heard about it after they received all their entries that they could accept so I was a little disappointed. Double Huh? Janice, where did that come from? The contest is open to all 500 members until 30th June. We have no limit on entries. Any genre at all. So go for it. For all the infor...

FaithWriters' Critique Guidelines

Because of recent discussions about critiquing, I felt it important to go to the source and share the guidelines for critiquing at FaithWriters, or put another way, the expectations of members leaving feedback. These guidelines have been posted in the Critique Circle since that area was started a fe...

Are You on This List? Please Check

Hi everyone. I'm ready to start chasing people for their bio notes for the Hidden in the Hymns book (from third quarter last year). So could you please check to see if you are on this list, and if you are, could you send a bio note through to me straight away. Even if the last one was fine, please r...

Enter!!! You'll still have 12 months to tinker with it after the winner is announced in November. So don't put it off. :D It will be another year before the fiction Page Turner comes around again. As for the title, keep thinking. You still have until the end of June. Just work through all the cookin...

Debbie, the novel itself hasn't been published, so that's fine.

That's fine then Lynda. Just upload a file. If there are problems with formatting, I'll let the authors know.

The format doesn't matter Lynda, but I have a feeling that it might be best copying and pasting it into the submission box--much the same as the Challenge, or a plain text file.

If you want to run a test, upload something and I'll check. Just let me know.

To be nice to the readers, it probably would be a help to leave a space between paragraphs and dialogue (same as we would here for articles and Challenge entries). But there's no real rule. Please do feel free to get opinions. No problem at all. Like I said, this isn't the Challenge. So, if you are ...
