Re: Winners for PEN AND PAPER Challenge

Thank you for the gracious honor. With a week which included three dentist visits and an ambulance ride to the hospital ... the Lord and my loved ones at Faithwriters brought my weary soul and achy mouth a bundle of joy. Again, thank you ... it was a soothing comfort to my soul! Love in Christ, jim ...

Re: Paragraphs

Hey, Jan, Most of my devotional writing is more akin to story-telling. I like to keep the style conversational - as almost as if I am writing letter to a friend. When it comes to paragraphing, I sometimes find it difficult to find the place where the subject matter changes. However, I notice I tend ...

Re: Be a Better Writer--ATMOSPHERE

Hey, Jan, This is the third paragraph in the opening of The Mystic Realms of Shadow Fox. It details the night journey home of a monk named Brother Anthony of the Cross. My path would be along the edge of the wide Angels’ Meadow that stretched between the River Road and the split-rail fences of the A...

Re: Winners for TIME

Well done, Fellow Faithwriters! And hats off to the winners! I read some mighty fine writing from many fine wordsmiths.

I must confess I was hoping I might place better but ... the Lord loves me and there is always next time.

Re: Winners for RISK

Well done all you word-workers in your taking the risk to share a bit of your soul. And think - the words you brought to life now live on in eternity (except, of course, the poorly written few that God will edit) and in some far distant time, some literary scholar will come upon your almost forgotte...

Much mighty fine writing to found in this week's entries ... some of which won honors while others could have easily placed.

Thank you, Judges, for your gracious and generous honor.
