Non fiction is not my forte, so I will probably not enter next year.

My real life love story as wonderful as it has been and still is would not be a page turner.

Wow!! I'm getting really nervous now. All these advanced writers and a beginner shows up with a genre that isn't exactly the most popular one. Mine was submitted a while ago. I'm just wondering if I should have held onto it for a few more weeks or even months. I'm glad everyone is getting their entr...

I did it, I did it!!!!!

I entered the contest. It took a lot of faith and patience as my entry was having trouble getting in but Deb says it is in and it is so exciting for me because other than the challenges, no one has ever read my work. I am nervous because there is a lot of stiff competition in more popular genres and...

I went to my account and clicked the red Faithwriters 500 link. That got me to the page for FW 500.

The contest is only for 500 members.

Anyway I found the link from there and clicked it which took me to the submission page.

It won't let me submit

I was all ready to submit my contest entry and I got the synopsis in and uploaded my file into the entry blank and I hit send.

It told me there was "no file selected".

I tried it three times and got the same message.

Please help me!!

To enter or not to enter-- That is the question. Whether tis nobler to share my work or sit on it for a few more months, for a few more years. I finished tweaking and fixing my synopsis, wrote a prologue and Chapter 1 is edited. But the question is, is it good enough to enter now or should I wait a ...

Okay, so I'm running into problems with my synopsis. I have no idea why it is so hard, but it is.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a sample synopsis to read, so I can see what they are like. A website or something.

I need help.

Questions

I was just wondering how the final entry should be marginated (if that is a word) and if it should be in an easy to read forum (with spaces between dialogue and such) or does it matter. I find it easier to edit and read on a computer screen with the spaces between, so I may need to reformat before I...

Mine is an old one that is already written down so I am almost done doing a first edit and then I will work on that first chapter and make it come alive. I am actually enjoying this process because I can see where it can be better in spots so it is making me work on it more so I can get to it. That ...

Oh, and I have a page-turning opening that I'm happy about, but it's only 400 words long... not chapter length. :| What would be a good length for a chapter. I always have trouble with that. You know this is a great topic for me because I have been editing a novella that I want to submit for this c...
