Re: Winners for RICH

Hi Ya'll!

Like you, I keep checking! I sent a message to Joanne Sher asking her.
She said Deb Porter, (who works the site) has had a rough week.

Shucks; I never learned how!
Guess I'll just have to give you a pat on the back through cyberspace...

Re: Winners for THREEFOLD CORD

Such a nice surprise to place at #2 in the Weekly Challenge. "Braids of Glory," memories of my Grandma Ford was an article that I thought was more of one to bring pleasure to me the writer. I'm glad it was accepted well by the judges. I give a big round of applause to all who made it to th...

Re: Winners for ENCOURAGEMENT

I feel like I won an Oscar! I unroll a long scroll of all those I wish to thank for making this possible. I do thank my Challenge Buddies (You know who you are! Group hug!) I also want to thank everyone who leaves messages of encouragement on the entries. Finally, I want to thank Joanne, Dee and Lyn...

Homework #2 Dad rambled as he shared his war stories. “In the Honor Guard when Eisenhower came to London.” His words fell upon deaf ears and eyes to blind to see the history woven before me. He sat in a favorite recliner unaware of his current frailty as each army episode carried him across the barr...

My favorite tip was about using conflict in all types of stories. Conflict is something I try to avoid at all costs! I don't like to rock the boat. I understand now that it keeps the readers attention. Great advice! Homework: Tell: My Dad served in the military. I think about him on patriotic holida...
