I am committed to presenting biblical truth in a way that is relevant to the people in the pews
I was born on December 24, 1981 and diagnose with spastic diplegic Cerebral Palsy at 11 months old. The doctors told my parents i would never walk, talk, or do anything "normal" but when the man in the white coat walked out, the man in the white robe (Jesus) walked in! I started talking at a normal age with no impediments whatsoever. At the age of 7 they could not find my reading level declaring it "off the charts". One day after working out my muscles, which my family was told was necessary to keep my muscles from drawing me into a knot preventing them from dressing me, my grandfather dropped my leg and said in a matter of fact voice " The Lord just told me you could walk". I had never taken an unassisted step before so you can imagine my surprise. I informed my grandfather that I was crippled and the Lord knew that.

My grandfather was undeterred and lifted me to my feet with the simple instruction "walk". Easy for him to say so I asked the most natural question of anybody about to take their first step "How?" Put one foot in front of the other and go from there came the reply so I took one step and splat feel flat on my face. My grandfathers picked me back up and told me try again, the next time two steps. The last time he pulled me to my feet my grandfather said “You are just being lazy, now cut that out and walk" and I did. I use crutches in crowds but could walk unassisted from that day on.

Later that same year my aunt had invited me to church and I went to get out of the house. I can't tell you anything about that night except I heard a sweet firm voice say "come". I looked around and saw no on. The next thing I know I was on the altar asking Jesus to save my soul. I immediately began reading the bible they gave me. I couldn't get out and play like the other kids so Jesus became my best friend. We walked, talked, laughed, and cried together.

I was so excited about being saved but that was not enough. I had a desperate longing to do something more for God and at the age of thirteen while at a revival I went to the altar to pray and I heard the sweet voice of God say "preach".

That was not the answer I was looking for. Can you imagine going from a diagnosis that you would never speak to speaking for the Almighty? So for the next five years I did every job in the church except preach. I sang, taught, and did everything to avoid preaching but God would have none of it so in June of 2000, after doing all I could to avoid it, I surrendered to the call to preach.

From that day forward i have sought God for every door I could possibly get to tell others about Jesus preaching and giving my testimony in churches, on the radio, in nursing homes and anywhere I can get an opportunity.
