I was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. My family moved to Spokane, Washington when I was seven and that was my home until I was twenty-six, at which time I met and married my husband. We have been married for thirty-nine years and now live in Fircrest, Washington - a little community just a hop, skip and a jump from Tacoma, Washington which is approximately 30-45 minutes from Seattle. We have four children and six grandchildren. Our seventh grandchild will make his appearance on or around August 17, 2009.

In whatever I do, it is my desire to bring praise and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ; that includes my writing. I believe any writing ability I possess is strictly God-given. The Lord has taught me to appreciate everything He created, from the smallest of insects (that's been a tough one!) to the wonderment of a rainbow. The Lord has given me the gift of loving and nurturing which I believe has had an affect on my writing.
I am very active in ministries at Liberty Baptist Church in Fircrest, Washington.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- I would have to say that May 29, 1980 was my biggest accomplishment, something for which I can take no credit. I praise the Lord for His patience in waiting for me to become His child. My life has been so complete since then.
- My greatest accomplishment thus far in the writing world is publication of three of my poems in the TJMFPublishing book titled "The Innocence of Children." With submissions limited to three per author, I was humbled to have all three of my entries selected.
- In my world of family, I have four children (two natural/two step) all of whom I would like to think I made a difference in their lives. I'm a nurturer and to that end, I haven't always made the right decisions. I'm very proud of my children, all of whom have excelled in their fields of expertise. I have six beautiful grandchildren who are a source for some of my poetry. A seventh grandchild due in August, 2009 I'm sure will bring many more poems to mind.
- This accomplishment perhaps should have been number one. I live with a non-believer and life hasn't always been easy. I was saved ten years into our marriage, but he has held out for the past twenty-nine years. I praise the Lord that He has walked every step of this journey with me. Without Him, I wouldn't be where I am today.
