I grew up in a small town, dreaming of bigger things. Unfortunately, even with a close and supportive family, most of my high school years were spent looking forward to the day I could leave and see more of the world. After high school, I attended Grace University where I received a B.S. in Bible and Elementary Education with an endorsement in English as a Second Language. Due to events which can only be explained as having been God-orchestrated, I found myself heading to China after graduation for the position of elementary ESL teacher at an International School.
Language in general, and especially the written word, has always been a source of fascination. With the support and encouragement of friends and family, I have recently begun to explore various avenues to develop my writing and take it beyond the pages of journals and newsletters. It is my hope to progress in this field, get the stories in my mind transferred to paper, and above all, to glorify God.
