I was born in Amsterdam, Holland in 1947.
I accepted the Lord Jesus at a young age, was baptised at the age of 12, and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
The desire of my heart was to go to a Bible college. This happened at age 21 and I was in the Bible College of Wales for 2 years.
Back in Holland I was involved in my home church, but worked also in an evangelical bookshop for two years.
Later I worked parttime with the Chamber of Commerce, and parttime for our church - sunday school, youth, S.O.S. Pastoral Tele-Helpline, deacon and after my marriage to Petra we also became the caretakers.
In 1987 God began preparing our hearts for another direction: serving in Israel.
At Petra's special request God gave us nearly overnight a special love for this people and its nation.
We found our niche in a Christian organisation in Jerusalem.
Petra became a secretary, and I ended up becoming the coordinator of the maildept.
God had something else in mind for us, and opened the doors for us to become foster parents for special needs children.
I am still God's mailman, and Petra's nurse-aid.
I love reading, writing, studying the Bible and being part of the Faith Writers.
