I have been passionately involved with publishing since I was a youth, continually seeking opportunities to work on school and nonprofit newsletters. After many years in the communications industry, I started my own company in 1992, RJ's Desktop, which offers a variety of publishing services including writing, editing, blog facilitation and management, research and quality control.
Past clients include Waste Management, for whom I wrote video scripts and books utilizing instructional design techniques. My company also was an approved service provider for Compaq and did a variety of work for them, including editing and producing their product services manual. Other clients were Halliburton, Stage Directions and Howell Training Company.

My husband and I currently live in the Texas Hill Country and love chasing sunsets and encountering the local wildlife. I do a lot of blogging about our experiences, including scripture-based devotionals.
