I was raised in a Pastors home. Was born in Dallas, but lived in Oklahoma as a child. Moved to West Texas at age of eleven. Moved to East Texas after graduating high school. Went to college on a music scholarship (vocal performance). After earning Bachelors and Masters degrees, I found ministry work in a Church as a Musician. I also taught private music lessons.

Other occupations I have had were as a patrolwoman, a social worker, and a counselor in a halfway house for emotionally disturbed adults.

I have also had experience as an entrepreneur.

While all of this was going on, I began writing short articles, and started, but never finished a couple of books.

I'm at an Autumn season of my life. I have found much peace and contentment. I have also "slowed down" a lot, and believe the Lord God wants me to.devote most of the time I have to writing.

Although most of my writing has been non-fiction, I am currently working on a novel, I plan to enter in the Current Publishing Contest.
