I was born in Idaho, raised in Montana, born again in 1970 during the Jesus Movement and have been moving with Jesus ever since. Shortly after being saved I attended Trinity Bible College and after three years graduated with a ministerial degree, became ordained and began a 12 year pastoral and intinerant ministry. In 1985 I returned to school and in 1988 graduated from the University of Redlands with a BA in religion and philosophy. Soon after graduation I began my graduate studies at the Claremont Graduate University and, finally, in 2000 graduated with a Ph.D. in the philsophy of religion and theology. During my graduate shool years I taught various courses in philosophy and religion at local universities and community colleges. During this protracted journey I was convinced the Lord wanted me to teach full time but that hasn't happened. So, I'm putting my energy into writing and hope my efforts will benefit those who read what I have to say.

MY NEWS
I have a couple of projects in the hopper (books) and a lot of ideas for articles. All I need now is time, energy and discipline to move them to completion (sound familiar?!).
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Married to my beautiful wife Kathaleen but the accomplishment is really hers for putting up with me all these years
- Published twice in the Pentecostal Evangel in the 1980's, wrote a weekly newspaper column in Newtown N. Dak. and other bits and pieces all over the place.
- Published in the Good News Magazine which can be Googled under my name (William Ryzek) if anyone wants to find it. It generated quite a lot of discussion among United Methodists.
