Jeanette Oestermyer lives in Rochester, Inidana. She is a member of two State Poetry Societies; New Mixico (NMSPS) and Indiana State Federation of Poetry Clubs (ISFPC). She served as President of NMSPS for four years, while a resident there. Now she is active in ISFPC.
Jeanette has written some nonfiction for children, with one article published at Wee Ones on the Internet. Her poetry has been published widely. She has also placed in many contests. Poetry is her first love.
