Messily sticky yummy gooey caramel cinnamon rolls, stufficated with chopped walnuts - slathered with homemade, not too sweet, cream cheese frosting.


Warm from the oven - homemde chocolate chip cookies with crunchy peanut butter and walnuts folded into the batter.


Valentine's Day confections with chocolate covered cherries, nuts and innumerable surprises . . .


Peanut butter cups. No need to elaborate.


Sweet and sour stuffed cabbage, sweetened with apricot preserves, brown sugar - soured with lemon juice and/or balsamic vinegar.


Homemade shredded potato pancakes with onions - served with sour cream and fresh applesauce.


Toasted marshmallows - almost black on the outside, pure hot creamy goo inside.


Crisp cinnamon toast enlivened with butter and cinnamon sugar.

This was a gastronomic delight that describes God's joy over so much of life - not just the blatantly 'spiritual' bits!
It recalled Ps 34: 8 - "Taste and see that the Lord is good..."
