Following Jesus’ footsteps
With love for everyone—
May this be my calling.
To spend time reading God’s Word
Until my mind is saturated
With His wisdom—
May this be my worship.
To ask for God to help
The people of His church worldwide,
And to bring the lost to salvation—
May this be my prayer.
To display kindness and patience
In every circumstance,
With the Holy Spirit’s help—
May this be my practice.
To seek the Lord’s forgiveness
For my unchristian attitudes
And thoughtless words or deeds—
May this be my contrition.
To ever be forgiving,
Even when I’ve been wronged,
Without seeking revenge—
May this be my aim.
To sing praises to my Savior
With thanksgiving,
Even in my darkest hour —
May this be my devotion.
To give to God, with a willing heart,
My goods, my time,
And my talents—
May this be my service.
To yield to the Lord
My hopes and plans
For today and in the future—
May this be my offering.
To dedicate to the Father of all mankind
My very life, along with the ones of my family,
The jewels in my heart—
May this be my consecration.
To trust in God,
Whatever may come,
And know that He is with me—
May this be my faith.
