So sorry to hear about this disaster happening to Tim. Praying the Lord will comfort him.

I do think this story is more about Tim as a person than about cats and dogs. He does seem to have a greater liking to cats and the cat he had was very important to him. We will be wondering how things turn out. Blessings, LaVonne
Wow.

That is heartbreaking and makes me wish it wasn't a true story.
This is a truly sad story, involving the reading in such empathy for Tim. I hope he'll find God's blessings and another cat.

Blasted reality!~ I hope you'll give us a Paul Harvey conclusion with the rest of this story. This left me with a punch to the gut and I'm sure I'll be thinking of Tim all day. You did a good job of endearing the reader to your MC.
I must echo Sheldon - please don't leave us with bitter tears in our mouths . . .

I really liked your character. He was very unusual and kind of quirky. I guess that goes sometimes with being a muscician. The ending was really sad. It left me feeling really bad for him. I wanted to go buy him a new puppy! Moving my emotions when I read a story is always a good thing. Nice job!
