Who are you?
Who am I?
Just another being
That was born and will die.
One of billions
On this earth,
One more person,
One more birth.
Each a story,
Each a rhyme
From the cradle to the grave,
Written with the pen of time.
Each soul a volume
Side by side
On a bookshelf
Centuries wide.
Some gilded,
Mostly poor
All existing, struggling,
Desiring, seeking more.
King or pauper
Each his day,
Proud and selfish,
Wanting sway.
Kingdoms rise,
Pilgrims tour,
Tyrants conquer nations,
Explorers seek a foreign shore.
History scribed as
Ages dawn,
Battles wagered,
Time spins on.
What’s the reason?
What’s the plan?
Has it always been this way?
Philosophers ask, “What is man?”
Was there a beginning?
Is there an end?
Uncertain
Theories blend
In His image
Man chose sin
“He has chosen us in Him”
A holy purpose, new life giv’n.
“Whosoever believes”
A plan unique-
Beloved Son
Souls to seek
Creator,
Great I Am,
Almighty, Ominiscient,
Sacrificial Passover Lamb,
King of Kings, Prince of Peace,
Redeemer, Friend,
Alpha, Omega,
Beginning, End
