Tom awoke, thankful to see it was early. This would give him a few minutes to sit with a cup of coffee and relax before he started his hectic day. He softly kissed his sleeping wife and slipped out of bed. As he sat sipping his coffee, looking out over their little garden, he wished he was facing a busy day of business. Things had been really slow in his little auto mechanic shop. With the economy bad, people would drive extra miles to Wal-Mart, to save the few dollars his little shop couldn’t compete with. But he had a car coming in first thing this morning. A lady from out of town had called last evening—said her name was Sarah-Jean something—said she had urgent business and would pay whatever it took to get her car repaired quickly this morning. He’d been grateful for the call! Concern stirred within him as he drove his aging pick-up to work. He wondered if he would be able to keep his small business open even another year the way things were going lately. Concern not only for his business, but for his ailing mother plagued him. He hoped he didn’t run into unforeseen problems this morning and could get done quickly; leaving that Sarah-Jean lady happy. He needed that business. He also needed to be at his mother’s by noon, to spend a few hours and relieve his sister, until his wife could get there that evening. It had been a rough year on them all, wondering how they were going to make their own ends meet and help make his mother’s needs met as well. As Tom walked into his shop he thought again about that preacher saying to give all your worries to God, and he’d been trying. But he kind of wondered if God was paying any mind to him, so far he hadn’t seen much sign of it.
Colin awoke; in his tiny trailer home on the outskirts of town; cold. But that was nothing new—at least not since the accident. He had to conserve on utilities. He got up, sat by the window and chuckled at squirrels hiding nuts. It had reminded him how he’d thought he’d prepared for the future—before the accident. After the car accident, he’d lost the ability to do his job and had to sell all he had. He was still trying to pay claims his insurance refused—told they were not submitted on time. But he’d been in no condition to do it in time—and he was alone. His proof didn’t faze the Insurance company. But Colin had put it all in God’s hands; depending on Him as never before; and now wept in thankfulness at how much closer all this had brought him to God. Just after noon came a knock on his door. It was someone identifying herself as Sarah-Jean, babbling about intending to come yesterday—but her car had broken down and God must’ve had a reason. She handed him a cashier’s check, explaining she’d been led, in small part, to right a wrong. Then she just left. Colin gasped at the check! It would make his ends meet a good while, plus enable him to help some hurting neighbors. “Who but You, God…Only You…” Colin cried as he fell to his knees.
Scripture Inspirations:
Proverbs 13:22: …But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous
Ecclesiastes 2:26: For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God…

I loved the way their stories all evolved around Sarah-Jean, and although each person had polar opposite lifestyles, financially and emotionally, it was Sarah-Jean who made an impact in each life.
Beautiful ending with God bringing provisions to all of His children, and who else but God could do this?
With man, it's impossible, with God all things are possible. AMen!
Loved it!
God bless~
