I am waiting,
I am hiding
I am watching
I am praying
I am singing
I am anticipating
A never ending circle of
Always waiting
Nonstop visiting
Never stopping
Never slowing
Hands lifting
Worship offering
Resting is exhausting
Pacing;
And playing;
Waiting;
And lying;
Baking;
And serving;
What am I forgetting?
Rest
Peace
Stillness
Quiet
Solitude
Calm
Peace and solitude?
I can run away
Escaping
Fleeing
Seeking
Praying
Listening
Be Still
I am sorry?
I can’t just…be still
Peace, be still
That works on storms
I do not know if that
Really works for me
