“Its as easy as falling off a log!”
Encouraging words these are not.
My brother broke his arm falling off a log.
And I can think of many ways
I’d rather spend my time
Than pursuing – without reason, without rhyme –
A way to test the ease of falling off a log.
It isn’t in the dictionary:
How do you make it ‘Pictionary’?
Or explain a word that isn’t one?
“You’ll find it on the Internet,
My sweet, why get in such a pet?
A time to chat, express a view,
And others leave their comments too.”
Chat?
A finger-snap to that!
I cannot “chat” – the word you use,
With folks I cannot see or choose
Now conversation is an art –
Discussion of a friend with friends –
It does not stand alone,
The word on sight as well as sound depends
– on nuances and tone
Let your fingers do the talking
That’s what the keys are for
Make an observation,
Give us your opinion;
Make it short but make it sure.
That’s Blog.
That’s Blog?
Are you sure it’s as easy as falling off a log?
When casting words into the air
I’d rather put my trust in prayer
And on the mercies of the Lord depend.
He’s the only One who knows
Exactly what my pleas disclose:
He sees beyond the words, the thoughts,
The very intents of my heart.
He calms the fears, removes the naughts
That take away the joys,
Protects from principalities and powers.
And not in part,
But whole.
He multiplies the prayers of relative and friend
And weaves a covering of love.
I need no ‘phone, no Internet, no web to rend
The veil of space and time;
All need is met in God’s own Word,
His written word, His spoken word,
Providing word, concealing word,
Protecting word, revealing word,
Prophetic word and healing word:
By Love Of God
If this is Blog –
To be sure it’s as easy
As falling off a log.

I loved this part:
"All need is met in God’s own Word,
His written word, His spoken word,
Providing word, concealing word,
Protecting word, revealing word,
Prophetic word and healing word: GOD"
This was really good - thank you. God Bless~
