“Defense? It was their offense. The Rams didn’t have a chance.”
“I thought you liked the Rams?”
“I do, but as perfect as they look they are supposed to get slaughtered; this season anyway. But they do have potential.”
“I agree. What did you think about the Eagles?”
“I am impressed. They seem to never tire.”
“Do you like the Gators?”
“I am not a big fan. They remind of the Serpents.”
“The Serpents? I never heard of them.”
“They played a long time ago; real sneaky. But they will never win the big game.”
“I’ll have to take your word on that.”
“That would be wise of you.”
“Who do you like between the Hawks and the Redwings?”
“I like them both.”
“Equally?”
“That is what I said. Do you want me to repeat myself?”
“No, not necessary. One time from you is good enough for me.”
“You are getting wiser by the minute.”
“I have heard you mention the Saints a time or two; how do they look?”
“The Saints look very good, if I say so myself.”
“Why do you think that?”
“I’ll explain it to you one day.”
“Well maybe you can tell me this then; what makes the Giants so unbeatable?”
“Giants!”
“Did I say something wrong? I mean, they have been beating everybody; nobody wants to play them. It’s like everyone is afraid of them.”
“Nonsense.”
“Nonsense. Maybe you didn’t see them destroy the Kings?”
“I have heard enough about these Giants from you.”
“Okay, no more talk about … you know who … then.”
“No, we will talk about them; rather you and Joshua will talk about them. Here he comes. Go listen to what he has to say about the Giants.”

Seriously though this is clever but you completely lost me on the first read through. And I thought that my writing was out of the box...
Actually, I couldn't quit smiling.

Great job.
