I’m the circus master and I also am the clown;
The laptop’s my arena, its screen an open page—
Gateway to the internet—the worldwide web’s my stage.
Words are my performers in showcasing every act,
Deftly alternating between tension, truth and tact;
Like a cast on opening night they’re out there on their own;
Slip-ups will be noticed—they are in the critics’ zone.
Some of them can jump through hoops and others play with fire;
Some do acrobatics; others balance on the wire,
Walking on a tightrope spanning fantasy and fact
With imagination juggling –a mind boggling act.
Others strut their nonchalance up on the high trapeze
Doing cartwheels through the air with elegance and ease;
Patrons gasp and hold their breath, amazed by skill and dare,
Loving the precision and the artist’s poise and flair.
Enters then the circus clown who loves to play for laughs—
Daft exaggerations are this tickle-teaser’s craft;
Mimicking and floundering he twists the crowd in knots—
A born actor and true showman—mindless fool he’s not.
When with formal dignity the circus-master speaks
Who would guess the circus clown could master such techniques?
One man puts on the costumes, playing out so many roles:
In characters created the writer’s life is told.

I read it earlier in the week. Today, I read again and stopped to realize just how good this is and how very on topic.
In fact, of all the entries I've read this week, this one speaks most clearly of the writer's life to me.
