For colors in God’s world’s bouquet
As love light shines from His dear face.
Red roses hold a crimson trace;
His life’ blood washed my sins away.
Sing, redbird, sing a song of grace.
While in the sky, gold sun does pace
To warm me with its gilded ray
As love light shines from His dear face.
Green pastures are my resting place;
He laid me here and bade me stay.
Sing, redbird, sing a song of grace.
Bright orange of sunset nights erase
Concerns and troubles of the day
As love light shines from His dear face.
Sing, redbird, sing a song of grace
While white doves coo to make the case
That colors are God’s love display.
And all His gifts, do I embrace,
In thankfulness I bow to pray.
Sing, redbird, sing a song of grace
As love light shines from His dear face.
