WOW and WOW!! This is pure, exquisite poetry! Every line is so RICH! I could just picture God calling to the light and watching it illuminate the universe!

Your lines about the creation of man were beautiful, too:

"And God, that He might not be alone, also created Man. He created him in the light, not in darkness. He created him from clay, warmed by the sun, that he might know hope and warmth within his sinews.

With His breath, God breathed life into man. Man’s soul filled with the same breath that had once called forth light itself and pronounced joy so exceeding that darkness paled."

Beautiful interpretation of the creation. I love the image of God thundering with joy and His joy shattering the light and sending it spiraling.. . I almost stopped reading after the first sentence, but the second kept me reading. I'm glad I did.
Beautifully written as always with words and meaning. I enjoy your writing so much. (Number 11--bummer!)
