Light divided the darkness – the void no longer whole. And God was pleased with the light and His voice thundered with joy; and this joy shattered the light, spiraling it out as glittering dust - even into the blackened galaxies.
And though yet death and pride were but imminent, even over these, light would have its victory that darkness should never prevail. For God decreed life dwell in light; and life, so commanded by God, abandoned all darkness.
And that the light not be alone, God called forth warmth to be its companion. And with warmth so ordained, she withdrew herself from darkness. And darkness became cold.
And God would have light have its purpose; and that purpose was to give hope. And likewise, with hope so ordered, darkness fell into its own purpose by the absence of light.
And God, that He might not be alone, also created Man. He created him in the light, not in darkness. He created him from clay, warmed by the sun, that he might know hope and warmth within his sinews.
With His breath, God breathed life into man. Man’s soul filled with the same breath that had once called forth light itself and pronounced joy so exceeding that darkness paled.
God, stepped out into the darkness; and knowing only good, called forth light. And God, knowing only good, created Man to live with Him in that light.
And Man. now knitted in the darkness of the womb, comes into the world – a fallen world - still yet spangled with light – triumphant light, that death should never be proud nor that darkness should ever prevail.
