Survived by: Forgiveness and acceptance.
Eulogy: Wade may best be remembered for a recent name change. This change was reflected in a new relationship he accepted in following the lifestyle and example of the Son of God.
Family members recall stories of anger and fear that lessened significantly after the name change.
Today's memorial service is to mark the end of one chapter in the life of Wade while inspiring an entirely new chapter that we will all view with interest in the coming years.
Today's funeral service is to commemorate the passing of an old life while publicly identifying with a new lifestyle and eternal perspective.
It was Wade's greatest wish that today's event would not be viewed as a funeral, but rather as celebration of new life for as Wade was fond of saying, "I am no longer the same - now I commemorate the death of self."
Memorials may be directed to The Good News, an organization dedicated to be the stepping stone to services similar to today's event.
