he came to do what no one else could –
he came to set us free.
Jesus –
like molten gold
he was poured into the mold of a man,
to represent
humanity
with God as its center.
Jesus –
his hands reached out
to heal
to stop
to love.
Jesus –
his feet moved forward each day,
to do
his father’s
will.
Jesus –
his mouth opened
to speak
to laugh
to teach
whatever the Father
spoke.
Jesus –
he walked in his father
and his father walked in him.
Jesus –
the wheel of the Son
within the wheel of the Father
within the power of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus --
the eyes of the Lord
all-seeing;
the voice of the Lord
proclaiming,
decreeing
breaking chains;
the body of the Lord dying,
saving
humanity
and
me.
Jesus –
he came to do what no one else could –
He came to set us
free.

My mind wrapped itself around the thought of Jesus as precious pure gold, and where we should be with God as our center.
Some very good thoughts here. Amen.
