I loved the Book Mobile when I was young! This brought back fond memories, although I don't go CLEAR back to the time when it was invented. lol
This story is a great reminder that historical facts don't need to be boring. I enjoyed this informative story very much.

Wonderful! I lived in country and used the book mobile once a month, during the summer. It didn't come during school much. Memories...
Nice story. I remember the book mobile coming to my school when I was a boy. Now I know...the rest of the story.

I love learning new things. Thanks for delivering this slice of Yank history. I paticularly like this quote "...More farmers, housewives, and children eagerly awaited the sight of the book wagon—bringing the world to their front door."
Woo Hoo for EC--You Go, Girl!

I've never seen a real bookmobile but had heard of them. The history was interesting, especially the part about the dead wagon. :)

Congrats on your EC, Vonnie!

Yvonne, you have such talent. This piece draws the reader in and carries them to experience the history and day-to-day of the bookmobile. The story is so well-rounded and left me thinking, 'Wow'.
