This is absolutely beautiful -- and very comforting. Excellent writing.

I love this - so many wonderful, wonderful images (especially those out of His mouth!). So comforting.
My favorite line is “I am the whisper that outshouts the thunder of distress,
and I am here to walk you to a place of quiet rest.” You offered many good reasons to be still and calm.

What a lovely poem. I appreciate how you took us from fear and anxiety to calm. And the end of the poem was indeed calming. Love the last two lines.

Loved the imagery here and the contrast.. want to keep this because storms will always come, and this is a good reminder of God's sustaining power and grace.. thanks for this gift..

I'm always amazed at what you can do with words, and then to make them rhyme! It's beautiful.

(love this! -- "Each crashing wave serves to remind me of my mortal state,
and growling seas surround my craft while murmering my fate."
As a judge this week, I found this to stand out as an absolutely beautifully written poem with an awesome message.
