Have I told you about my friend Mr. Yoo-Hoodle,
How he stands straight and tall like a skinny, raw noodle?
How he loves to eat sausage and spinach and strudel?
How he yoo-hoos to everyone, even his poodle?
Well … I found out You-Hoodle likes mostly to doodle;
He draws funny lines with his kit and caboodle.
Ideas just appear and he shouts out “Woo-hooodle!”
This makes him all happy and in a good moodle.
“The trick is,” he says, “to eat plenty of foodle.
Just chow down a meal first, before you draw oodles,
In case you need energy out the wazoodle.
My guess is that then you’ll fill pages with doodles.”
Before I drew doodles like Mr. Yoo-Hoodle’s,
He offered me lunch – sausage fried with egg noodles.
Then as a surprise he got out the po-toodles
And whipped up dessert – yummy, rich woodle strudels!
He baked up some pastry with ripe, sweet red woodles,
Then squeezed from a tube these long string-icing doodles
All over the top of those warm woodle strudels.
(Delicious warm strudels make quite awesome foodles!)
But all of a sudden Yoo-Hoodle’s black poodle
Jumped onto the table and stole a big strudel!
“Yoo-hoo there, you THIEF – you bad poodley poodle!
Come back and apologize; don’t be so rudle!”
So here’s what I’ve learned from old Mr. Yoo-Hoodle:
Yoo hoo when you mean it, and eat lots of strudel;
Then regularly draw, with a flourish, some doodles -
And pass on your skills as a doodling dudle.

An inspiring quote from a master:
"I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. This is what I do, which enables you to laugh at life's realities." - Dr. Seuss

Your poem is chock full of fun-lovin' 'tude!
The problem I have once I've read all of that,
I can't seem to stop with the rhymin'-Oh, rats!
(Yours is way better than mine) What fun!
