Bless me now, I have to sneeze,
Fields of lilies all in a row,
Make my blooming allergies grow.
Watery eyes make visions blurry,
Though I know why, so I don't worry,
See the buttercups? What a delight!
I'll have to take a pill tonight.
My breath is getting kind of wheezy,
Sunlight beams through air so breezy,
Dandelion fuzzes float so pretty,
My eyes are getting damp and gritty.
Now my schnozzle is turning red,
With itching and twitching I so dread,
Beautiful flowers are everywhere,
So I sniffle, and yet I stare.
Blooms a million shimmer my world,
Petals so gently becoming uncurled,
Violets spring beneath the sun,
God's glory shines with every one.
This is the season of all rebirth,
Springtime's renewal of this old earth,
Life bursts forth with all it's might,
Sharing a glimpse of heaven's delight.
I would rather have these flowers,
And teary eyes that rain like showers,
Than be without these heavenly hues,
Of yellows, reds, pinks, and blues.
So for now I'll just ignore,
A tickling throat and nose so sore,
Pass that box of Kleenex, please,
And bless me now, I have to sneeze!
