So vast the depth cannot be told
Deep are the prisms of our Lord's soul
Fathomless time and infinite space
Timeless beauty defines His grace

Wide open arms give the weary a rest
Stretching as far as east to west
Allowing the multitudes rebirth
Sea to sea, earth to earth

Higher than the snow peaked mountains
Redemption flows like sparkling fountains
One cannot gauge the highest distance
From which His saves without resistance

There is no way to ever measure
Mercy miles He gives with pleasure
Forgiveness has naught a single number
Rained on us without encumber

No human eye has ever seen
The distance spanning in between
Heaven has no singular bound
From which totality can be found.

Whispering from the highest star
Speaking softly to who we are
Defining us as His to be saved
Sinfully wounded, so enslaved

Satan has never seen Him fail
His Holy Spirit shall prevail
Deep, wide, high divinity
A soul measured by infinity

This is a beautiful entry. You really made me think deeply on the concept of how deep, wide and high is God's love. The words of this piece seemed to pour over me, leaving a peacefulness in me as they passed.

Wow this is incredible poem. You did a fantastic job with the rhythm and the rhymes. Your words reached out and grabbed my heart. The only red ink I have is I noticed you wrote his saves and I think you meant he. Another thing I noticed, and this might just be the way my eyes work, but the shape of the poem almost looks like Jesus hanging on the cross. It gave me chills and left me with no doubt that this was inspired by the Holy Spirit. Beautiful writing.
