She was still getting used to the new computer her grand kids insisted on buying for her. “Ok, how about peach cobbler.....” Gladys typed the letters, hit enter. That hour glass mocked her, and just kept spinning. Then a page finally popped up. “Yes!” She read out loud, “Not found.... did you mean peace?” She shook her head, “No, you silly machine. I meant peach.” She looked at the screen again. “Silly me, I typed peacg instead of peach.”
“Hmmmm....” She began another search, this time she was going to try a roast recipe. She hit the enter button. “Not found...did you mean rest?” She took a sip of her coffee. “Rest?” She squinted, looking at the screen. “I did it again. I typed rast instead of roast. That's ok. I don't have time to make a roast anyway, especially with gravy. Good gravy! That's it! I could make biscuits and gravy.”
Gladys rubbed her arthritic knuckles before she cleared the search box. Now to find an award winning gravy recipe to blow the support hose off the others. Her results popped quicker this time. “Not found...did you mean grace?”
She sighed. “Ok, Lord, I get the hint! Maybe I should just eat some humble pie and stop trying to show everybody up.”
She walked over to her phone and started to dial, watching the circles spin after each digit. “Hello, Myrtle? Would you pick me up and give me a ride to The Daily Bread Bakery?” She twirled the cord. “Oh, good. I need to pick up some rolls for the dinner tonight.”

You did a great job with a fresh approach on the topic. The only things I could argue with are little things like a hyphen in old-fashioned and grandkids being one word not two (though the spell check does underline grandkids as incorrect)
I really enjoyed the message. I know what it is like to have God show me the error of my ways.
I can't tell you how many times I've been the recipient of God's 'subtle' hints.
Great take of the topic. Loved it.
Congraulations on being Highly Commended.
